Uses, Applications: |

CSC Taper systems can be used on wood, metal or concrete dead level decks to provide positive drainage which helps to eliminate ponding on flat roofs. It is used on both primary and re-roof projects. Crickets are used to divert water to drains on pre-sloped roofs.
Each bundle shrink wrapped and labeled to prevent mix-up and easy storage. |

AVAILABILITY, COST
Product Availability depends on size of project and availability of raw product. Truckload stocking materials need approx 4 days lead time. Product available through local wholesale roofing supply centers.
Perlite board, Cant Strip Tapered roof system meets Federal Spec.* Standards ASTM-C-728 and HH-1-529-B and has an R value of 4.17 per 1 ½” of material.
Wood Fiber Taper System meets Federal Spec. Standards ASTM-C-208 and LLL-1-535-A class C and has an R value of 4.20 per 1 ½” material.
CSC PERLITE CANT
CSC Perlite Cant is fire resistant, an important consideration in any roofing system but especially applicable to torch-applied, modified bitumen systems. In the ASTM E-85 Tunnel Test, wood fiber cant strip has a flame spread of 103’ in 10 minutes. CSC perlite Cant has a flame spread of 42 feet.
